About the Program

CARING Senior Living is licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health to provide Assisted Living Program (ALP) services to residents of publicly-subsidized housing sites. For over ten years, CARING has provided ALP services to residents in their own apartments in Atlantic City, Millville, Wildwood and Camden. CARING provides residents with the services and supports they require to "age in place" rather than move into a long-term care facility.

ALP provides:

nursing care
homemaker services
personal care
assistance with medication, doctor’s appointments and transportation

Who Qualifies?

Eligibility is based upon income and age. ALP services can be provided to residents of publicly subsidized units in Atlantic City, Millville, Wildwood and Camden.

Medicaid Managed care pays for the entire cost of the Assisted Living Program. Residents are responsible for their apartment rent and other living expenses.
